Moviehouse & Eatery is a chain of dine-in theaters complete with plush recliners, a scratch kitchen and a dedicated waitstaff. In 2016, we were tasked with creating a memorable and informational launch campaign for the newest Moviehouse location in McKinney, Texas. 

THE ASK

Introduce the Moviehouse to a new audience that's already familiar with, and skeptical of, the dine-in theater scene through print and digital marketing.

STRATEGY

We put a playful spin on educating our future patrons by breaking down the Moviehouse's many offerings into easy, bite-sized tips aptly named Tips on the House. These tips also helped set us apart and create brand awareness in a market saturated with competition. With a strategy established, we were able to start rolling out promotional collateral.

 
 
 

Digital Campaign

We pulled visual cues from vintage instructional videos and mechanical drawings for our digital marketing. Using Facebook carousal ads, we delivered our audience handy tips on how to get the most out of their Moviehouse experience.

 
 
 

Direct Mail Campaign

We developed a Direct Mail campaign that featuring multiple Tips on the House centered around the Moviehouse's scratch kitchen. The interior of the mailer featured a spread of insider tips from M&E's Chef, followed by a voucher for your next visit.

 
 
 
 
 

Pre-show Reel

We finished the campaign off with a series of animated shorts, appearing before the previews at the Moviehouse.
